iOS and Android Charts

Beta Version Available Now

Hello

Last week, we announced our new iOS and Android Chart Controls and invited our customers to register for its first beta via our website. Demos are already available for download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and registration remains open for those of you interested in beta testing the product.

The controls will ship as native packages for Xcode and Android Studio development, and will include Xamarin wrappers for those favoring C# and VB.‌NET.

Throughout the product's R&D cycle, our focus was to maximize performance against large datasets and deliver a product capable of handling real-time data update with ease. As you'll discover in our upcoming webinar or once you join the beta, we've been able to address both requirements without imposing any limitations on bound data sources.

Client-Side Web Dashboard

CTP Version Shipping with the Latest Update

We are on track to fully support Web Dashboard integration into HTML apps in v17.2, with the preview version ready for testing today. The Web Dashboard can now be rendered on the client side, while having data fed to it by an ASP.‌NET MVC / Web API back-end. This means you can:

  • Integrate a dashboard into any place that supports HTTP requests. For example, we've created a GitHub Page containing Web Dashboard.
  • Publish Web Dashboard as part of applications based on Angular, Knockout, Vue and similar frameworks.
  • Use the Dashboard side-by-side with DevExtreme client-side widgets.

DataExplorer for iOS - Part of Universal

The new functionality is available with our recent v17.1.5 update. For more information and for step-by-step instructions on integrating a dashboard into a client-side app, refer to our announcement blog post:
